If TJ participated here, then this would guarantee the success of the forum.

No, Tomasz Janeczko is not participating here (currently). Personally I don't think he would be interested in participating in another AB forum other than AB's official one (one reason: too much time consuming). Also by reading his comments about standard forum instead of Yahoo groups he seems to going to stay with Yahoo groups instead of web-based forum groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/amibroker/conversations/messages/189945Also he once mentioned "Don't fix it if it ain't broken for years" in regards to staying with Yahoo groups. That being said, never say never but ATM the short answer clearly is "No". But that doesn't prevent this forum from becoming a success. After all it's a users forum and supposed to be an exchange place for AB newbies and experienced AB users who prefer standard forum with good structure to store info and to provide help and who prefer better search options. On the other hand Yahoo groups accessed via web-browser has gotten worse and worse in that regards.

On the other hand Yahoo groups accessed via web-browser has gotten worse and worse in that regards. I agree 100%. If I did not have an e-mail client to receive and organize the Yahoo Group mails, I would never use it. Too much messy. So messy that it might be useless to a newbie.

Over the years it is surprising that such a smart person as TJ is, he doesn't see the problem with the yahoo groups/email approach and likewise, doesn't see a forum approach as beneficial.
A forum can provide continuity for questions/answers, that is easily and logically followed, makes a topic (aka conversation) searchable, allows all to chime in again, in a logical conversational etc. Maybe because I use a crappy live.com email vs. what I love and am used to (gmail) is why I don't like email but, this is way superior and the reason it is used by everyone who has an interest in everything instead of email.
Glad to be here and see this. Thanks fsxshrat!
